Congratulations to Nitsan for completing his M.Sc.!
Nitsan developed a method that "injects" cellular context (e.g., mitosis stage, cell shape) to a model that is trained to transform label-free to fluorescence (what we call "in silico labeling", see Perspective by Nitsan here). Nitsan shows that context matters, that injecting context improves the in silico labeling performance and that generative image traversal along a "context-dependent" trajectory can be used to quantify and interpret how organelles adjust their internal structure and organization throughout a physiological process. Stay tuned for the preprint!
Good luck on your current research position in Anima Biotech!
